As businesses across the UK make adjustments to mitigate the impact of COVID-19, we want to reassure you that at HWEnergy we are working as hard as we can to maintain normal service, and are actively monitoring the situation on an on-going basis so that we may continue to safely support your essential supply of heat.
The situation is changing day-by-day and we are rigorously following the Government guidance as it is released. We have put some precautionary measures in place (such as social distancing) so that our Field Service Engineers and Support Desk can operate as normal. We intend to continue doing what we do best and support our customers through these uncertain times.
Here are some of the steps we are taking to reduce the risk:
- Although we are undertaking planned and reactive work as normal, we are instructing our Service Engineers to try wherever possible to avoid close contact with you and your team;
- Our staff are being equipped with cleaning products and protective equipment so that they can maintain high standards of hygiene;
- We are working as hard as possible to maintain service standards over the coming weeks. If our service starts becoming affected by the further spread of the virus we will be prioritising our response for more vulnerable clients;
- Our office staff are now working from home as per the Government advice, though they have full-connectivity in order to maintain our service levels to you.
Working hard to ensure continued biomass heat services
In the meantime, we would appreciate your co-operation to ensure that we can access your biomass system whilst limiting the contact with your staff members. This can involve for example leaving boiler room doors unlocked so that we do not have to enter buildings.
Please rest assured that we are constantly reviewing the situation and have continuity plans in place. We will update you if our approach changes but please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
Best wishes and we hope you all stay healthy,
