Scotland’s retail industry is moving forward with new and even more ambitious targets and is rising to the challenge of climate change. We were delighted to be able to support The Co-operative Food at the Scottish Retail Consortium’s reception at Dynamic Earth in January.
148 guests from Scotland’s retail industry, politics and media attended the reception.
Event speakers Iain Gulland of Zero Waste Scotland, Environment Secretary Richard Lochhead MSP, SRC Chairman Andrew Murphy and SRC Director David Lonsdale.
SRC Chairman Andrew Murphy spoke about the industry’s environmental credentials and Cabinet Secretary Richard Lochhead MSP praised the retail industry’s leadership on the environment.
Several SRC member firms exhibited their green credentials at the Reception, including Co-op, Boots, B&Q, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Morrisons, McDonalds and ASDA.
