Now in their third year, the Scottish Rural Awards are a benchmark of success in Scotland’s countryside and are a celebration of the innovation, dedication and enterprise of those who live and work in rural Scotland. This year’s awards were presented last week in front of a sold out crowd at Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh.
Congratulations to Gatehouse of Fleet based visitor attraction Cream o’ Galloway at Rainton Farm on scooping the ‘Rural Tourism’ award and to The Puffer Bar & Restaurant in Argyll for winning the ‘Rural Hospitality’ award.
HWEnergy work with many leading businesses in the hospitality sector and remain proud of our rural roots. As such we were delighted to sponsor and present both of the special award categories above. The winners were noted for the positive impact they make within their local communities, the quality of their business and their dedication to their respective fields.
Thanks to Scottish Field and the Scottish Countryside Alliance for organising a fantastic evening!
